This “hand” shake was created for my best friend Lou (Christie) Sacco. Being that Lou was a huge recording artist in the 60s and the records from that time were 45s that sometimes needed a 3 pointed spindle that fit on a regular record player. My future wife Mindy, Lou and I would spend so many dinners and events over the years this was a perfect connection for the three of us to say so long for the evening.

This specific painting is from the final Spindle Shake while Mindy and I visited Lou in the hospital. It is now a painting for all time. I used the actual Michaelangelo's Sistene Chapel ceiling as a background for the timelessness of our final goodbye to my Best Friend.
